You are eligible for a full refund in the following circumstances:

  • Application Not Yet Submitted: If you request a refund before we submit your application to the IRS, you will receive a full refund.
  • Our Error: If your application is rejected by the IRS due to an error on our part, you will receive a full refund.
  • Duplicate Payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same application, we will refund the duplicate charges.
  • Service Not Delivered: If we fail to deliver your EIN within 30 days of your selected processing tier timeline (excluding IRS delays), you may request a full refund.

Partial Refund or Resubmission

In certain circumstances, we may offer a partial refund or free resubmission:

  • IRS Rejection (Your Information): If your application is rejected due to incorrect information you provided, we will work with you to correct the application and resubmit at no additional charge.
  • Processing Tier Downgrade: If you paid for Rush or Express processing but received Standard processing times, you may receive a partial refund for the difference.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are NOT available in the following situations:

  • EIN Already Issued: Once the IRS has issued your EIN, no refund is available as the service has been completed.
  • Application Submitted: After your application has been submitted to the IRS, refunds are generally not available unless the rejection was due to our error.
  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds simply because you changed your mind about needing an EIN after the application has been submitted.
  • False Information: If your application is rejected because you provided false or fraudulent information, no refund will be issued.
  • IRS Delays: Delays caused by the IRS are beyond our control and do not qualify for refunds.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team through the website chat or contact form.
  2. Provide your order number and the email address used for your application.
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request.
  4. Our team will review your request within 2 business days.
  5. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it typically takes 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider. Credit card refunds may take up to one billing cycle to appear on your statement.

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your credit card company. We are committed to resolving any issues promptly and fairly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in delays and additional complications.
